Class Descriptions

Recovery Yoga

The Turning Point Center of Chittenden County  offers FREE yoga multiple times a week. 


Classes are gentle, recovery-themed, and accessible to anyone.  

No experience is needed


I have the honor of teaching on Mondays (hybrid) & Wednesdays (on zoom) from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. EST.  

Chair Yoga

  Are you a beginner yogi, a person with limited mobility, or an experienced yogi interested in broadening your practice? Chair yoga is performed while seated or with the aid of a chair, and increases flexibility, strength, body awareness, and promotes skills in calming the mind. 

We explore joint mobility, flexibility, strengthening, balance and more. Pranayama (breathwork), and meditation are explored during our chair practice.  

No experience is needed.

Y12 Yoga

  

Yoga of 12Step Recovery (Y12 Yoga) Combines the ancient and somatic wisdom of yoga with the practical tools of the 12 steps. 


This practice is a modality for relapse prevention, and is open to ALL persons overcoming any addictions: behavioral, substance, or those affected by any addictive tendencies. 

No yoga experience is needed.


Practice opens with a themed discussion followed by a gentle yoga flow.

Saturday Rise & Shine

 This slow and stretchy introspective practice lets your body wake up mindfully and gently. 

Classes are themed around what you, my lovely students, feel your bodies are needing. I enjoy offering you many options, encouraging you to make this practice as gentle or strenuous as you would like. 


One-on-One Classes

Do you feel like your yoga practice has reached a plateau? Do you wonder if you should be feeling sensation or engagement in a particular posture or shape? Does a posture feel weird, uncomfortable, or strange? 


If questions like these have ever crossed your mind, then maybe a private class is for you. 

Yoga is an exploration of self-study. It's not about the exact shape of the posture, it's about how Yoga reshapes our lives.  A private class offers you an opportunity to grow, deepen, and expand your practice.
